Orient Products was started in 2000 by a young entrepreneurial spirit named John Peebles while he was still in college. Since then, the company has gone through several drastic changes, the latest a complete takeover by his wife (that would be me), and a thorough shift in products for sale. If you'd like a giant "antique" sword to hang on your wall, you have come to the wrong place. I'm sure you will deal with your disappointment in a healthy manner.

While John grew up in China, my first trip there was not until the summer of 2008. I enjoyed the culture, the food and the people, but mostly I found a ludicrous amount of things that I wanted to buy for myself and to give as gifts. After some discussion, the Board of Directors of Orient Products - meaning John and myself - decided to reopen the doors of the company and sell things that I would want in my own home. You should consider this a warm and generous gift from my heart to yours.

For now, our range of products is fairly limited, but if you have an idea for a new product, or a special request for something you'd like imported, we will do our best to accommodate (though we may mutter things under our breath about you).
